Election Day 2026 is Here!
Time to castrate the Trump Administration

If you're anything like me you woke up today, November 3rd, with a sense of hopeful anxiety.
It's Election Day in the United States and, in the midst of these tumultuous times, Americans have the chance to change the current trajectory and begin repairing the damage that has been done by this administration. Support

Despite the fact that a majority of polls show a massive Democratic sweep, the past few elections have demonstrated just how skewed and misrepresentative polls can be, and I refuse to relax into false hope. I firmly believe the only thing that will change the tide is a robust voter turnout and the collective anger over the high cost of living.
It's morbid to say out loud, but there is nothing more 'American' than high gas prices unifying both parties against the current administration. That anxiety
humming in the background during my morning cup of tea isn't just about party control or legislative majorities, it’s the distinct, heavy weight of everyday life becoming harder to afford. Every time Americans pull into a gas station, we are hit with a stark, unavoidable reminder of the choices made by those in power. Gas prices have hit staggering historic highs for an Election Day, hovering over $4.15 a gallon nationwide, driven up by reckless foreign policy decisions, geopolitical escalation in the Middle East, and persistent inflation that hasn't let up. When filling up a standard pickup truck climbs toward a hundred dollars, theoretical economic talking points instantly evaporate.
The pain at the pump cuts through political tribalism faster than any campaign ad ever could. It touches working families, commuting parents, independent contractors, and retirees on fixed incomes regardless of how they registered to vote. For months, we were promised relief from rising costs, yet the reality on the ground has only grown more expensive. That shared economic pressure creates a rare, visceral consensus across party lines: people are tired of watching their paychecks shrink while the cost of basic necessities continues to surge. That is why we cannot afford to look at favorable polling numbers and assume the job is done.
Polling models try to capture intent, but they cannot measure the sheer determination of voters who have had enough.
Hope isn't a strategy, and favorable projections aren't a guarantee. The real referendum happens at the ballot box when millions of people translate their daily frustrations into direct action. If you
haven't cast your vote yet, allow your recent grocery store receipt to propel you out the door. Check your local polling site, stand in line (even if they close while you are in line), and make your voice heard. High turnout is the only true equalizer we have, and today is the day we hold power accountable.
