The Real Housewives of London, Glamour

After the disaster that was this season of the now cancelled Ladies of London, I found myself feeling wary of the new Real Housewives of London, so much so, that I waited until the entire season was streaming on Peacock before giving it a go.

The Real Housewives of London introduces six glamorous, stylish and (to be frank) wild women who are making their mark across London's most prestigious zip codes. From Belgravia to Chelsea, these women attempt to balance ambition, family and friendships, all at full volume. Whether fighting over lavish dinners, escaping to a Scottish castle...to fight, or rebuilding bonds over bottles of champagne... after fighting, they’re navigating life, securing their television legacy and fan loyalty in a city where wealth and grudges roar. Between the big personalities, deep histories, and no shortage of drama, I was thrilled to have an entire season to binge on a recent particularly plan-free Saturday.

And, oh wow, what a binge it was!

For a quick rundown of the new ladies and my thoughts after watching the season, read this first.

Episode 1: "Welcome to London, Hope You Brought Armour"

The series premiere opens with a lavish look at London's high society, introducing the cast across Knightsbridge, Chelsea, and Belgravia. From Amanda riding through poshest London in her Bentley to Nessie baking for royalty and Panthea casually dropping £140k at Harrods, the lifestyle porn is front and center. However, the champagne turns icy when Amanda hosts an International Women’s Day event at her mews house for the group’s first gathering. A historical feud dubbed #TeethGate erupts between Panthea and Juliet Mayhew over a mutual dentist friend and a botched set of braces. Panthea wastes no time calling Juliet M fake to her face while Amanda desperately tries to escape the drama with caviar in hand.

Episode 2: "Betrayals and Body Tapping"

Episode 2 keeps the pressure on as Panthea introduces her glam mother, Shala, who delivers brutal honesty over drinks in Mayfair. Meanwhile, Juliet Mayhew meets up with Real Housewives of Dubai icon Caroline Stanbury at Jimmy Choo to talk fashion, divorce, and ancient grudges. Later, Karen hosts the group for a tense dinner at Isabel on Albemarle Street in hopes of establishing a peaceful "sisterhood." Instead, Panthea drops a rumor that Amanda tried to force her ex to adopt her daughter, prompting Amanda to label the behavior completely "chavvy." A deeply fake apology between Panthea and Juliet M barely holds the peace as the women gear up for a group trip.

Episode 3: "Baggage Claim"

The drama packs its bags for a weekend getaway to Nessie’s sprawling 2,500-acre estate in the Cotswolds. Amanda shuts down divorce settlement rumors during a walk in Battersea Park while Karen takes a cultural trip to Brixton Market to honor her Jamaican heritage. The trip kicks off in peak high-society fashion with Amanda, Juliet M, and Panthea arriving via private helicopter to meet Sir Henry Elwes. Country traditions like cheese rolling and "welly wanging" do little to ease the underlying tension among the cast. On the minibus ride over, a fiery argument breaks out between Karen and Panthea over ladylike etiquette and class backgrounds, culminating in Karen declaring she is completely done.

Episode 4: "Fifty Shades of Red"

Continuing the Cotswolds getaway, Nessie attempts to calm the waters with a red-themed dinner party and a game of icebreaker questions. Panthea steals the spotlight by performing a full When Harry Met Sally orgasmic impression at the dining table, much to the horror of Juliet M and Karen. The mood takes a sharp turn when Panthea claims she did "due diligence" on Karen through contacts in Jersey who deemed Karen not of their "calibre." The next day brings a brief truce over alpacas and vintage cars before an emotional dinner at a Cheltenham pub where Karen opens up about her childhood. However, the peace instantly shatters when Juliet M and Gena spot a cryptic late-night Instagram post from Karen quoting Bob Marley.

Episode 5: "Alcohol & Ozempic"

Back in London, Panthea attends an exclusive garden party at Buckingham Palace with her husband Ed while Juliet Mayhew and Nessie hit the Padel court. The dynamic shifts dramatically with the official arrival of Ladies of London veteran Juliet Angus, who meets up with Caroline Stanbury and Juliet M at Caviar House. Juliet M hosts an idyllic summer picnic in Henley-on-Thames, but inviting both Amanda and Juliet A turns the afternoon into a total war zone. Past grievances spill over as Juliet A labels Amanda a "white witch" and "Cruella de Vil," while Amanda brings up alcohol usage. The fight peaks with Juliet A accusing Amanda of using Ozempic before screaming that men run from her and storming off the grounds.

Episode 6: "Henley-on-Thames Fallout & Secret Secrets"

In the aftermath of the explosive picnic, the women are left picking up the pieces and choosing sides between Amanda and Juliet Angus. Juliet A vents to her inner circle about Amanda's ruthless comments, while Amanda remains entirely unbothered during her high-end shopping and beauty routines. Tensions continue to simmer across Chelsea as rumors begin circulating regarding past financial dealings and social climbing tactics within the group. Nessie finds herself stuck right in the middle, attempting to play peacemaker while hosting her own sleek gatherings. As alliances fracture further, the ladies prepare for their next major group trip, knowing the truce won't hold for long.

Episode 7: "Highland Fling"

Juliet Mayhew flies the group up to Scotland for a lavish stay at Glenapp Castle, though Karen joins under heavy grief following the sudden passing of her sister. The ladies arrive via private jet, sipping champagne and attempting a fresh start while surrounded by bagpipes and Balmoral vibes. After competing in Highland Games—where Amanda frets over her £50,000 bracelet during tug-of-war—they sit down for a formal castle dinner. The peace is short-lived as Amanda tells Panthea to "get a job" and turns her sights back onto Juliet Angus, calling her a "chronic liar" and an "insecure twat." The night devolves into low blows about parenting and careers, forcing an exhausted Juliet M to walk away from the table.

Episode 8: "Loch Mess"

The castle dinner fallout continues into the morning, with staff and concierge struggling to keep order while the women hurl insults like "mutton dressed as lamb" and "poisoned trolls." Rumors fly regarding swinger lifestyles and status, prompting Nessie to repeatedly demand that the group show some basic decorum around other guests. A falconry session and a sea safari boat trip to see puffins temporarily break the tension, allowing Amanda and Panthea to reach a surprising truce. That evening, the women don tartan for a traditional greenhouse dinner featuring haggis, Robert Burns poetry, and Ceilidh dancing. Despite ending the trip on a high, smiling note, the teaser reveals the calm is merely a setup for another massive blowup back in London.

Episode 9: "Chelsea in Bloom, Friendships in Ruin"

Back in London, gossip spreads about Juliet Mayhew allegedly invoicing the guests for "extras" from the Scotland trip, deeply hurting Juliet M when she finds out. Juliet A takes her daughter prom-shoe shopping before attending Juliet M’s product launch for her new natural laundry soap, Go Coco. Meanwhile, Karen launches her fashion line and Panthea skips the soap event entirely to attend a prestigious legal fitting with her husband. Seeking resolution, Amanda agrees to meet Juliet A for a sit-down at Morena in Belgravia, but shows up over an hour late. The meeting instantly turns toxic as they scream over past marriages, financial origins, and status, ending with Amanda repeatedly chanting "Back to Paddington!" as Juliet A storms out.

Episode 10: "Garden of Grudges, Glimmer of Hope?"

The season finale picks up immediately after the Belgravia blowup, with Amanda speeding off in her Bentley while Juliet A fumes to the production crew. Ahead of her 51st birthday, Panthea hosts a cheeky gathering at luxury lingerie shop Coco de Mer, where Karen teases the group with whips and toys. Later, Juliet A hosts a glittering outdoor jewelry launch where fresh rumors swirl about unpaid florist bills. Panthea’s "Garden of Sin" birthday party at Dartmouth House brings the entire cast together in full couture alongside caviar and 55 bottles of champagne. Peacemaking attempts fall flat as Amanda walks away from Juliet A once again, but the women manage to toast to the season before the dramatic reunion preview rolls.

Final Verdict: The Real Housewives of London Delivered Pure Reality TV Gold

If you had told me a new franchise addition could come out of the gate swinging this hard, I might have been skeptical, but The Real Housewives of London completely shattered every expectation. Season 1 was, without exaggeration, the absolute perfect launch for a new city.

From the second episode one dropped, the momentum never slowed down. The drama was non-stop, the arguments were delightfully loud, and the overall ride was thrilling from start to finish. What really sealed the deal for me was the classic Housewives roller coaster: I went from loving to hating almost every single one of these women at least three different times over the course of ten episodes. That constant shift in allegiance is the true hallmark of top-tier reality television, and this cast delivered it in spades.

Beyond the petty rivalries and explosive dinners, the lifestyle porn was off the charts. These women brought the exact cocktail we crave from the franchise: immense wealth, jaw-dropping personal style, and unmatched social access. It was endlessly fascinating to get a front-row seat to UK high society, soaking in the grand country estates, Mayfair private members' clubs, and the distinct flavor of British luxury that feels so fresh compared to the US series.

Bravo and Hayu absolutely nailed the casting, the pacing, and the tone. The Real Housewives of London has officially earned its place at the top of my watch list, and I am already counting down the days until Season 2.
